Mosaic is a photo network you use by text. Here's what we collect, who can see it, and how to delete it.
What we collect
Your phone number, name, profile photo, home city, and the photos, videos and text you send Mosaic. This includes where each photo was taken, read from the photo's location data. We also store the stamps and comments you leave and who you're connected with. We don't access your contacts unless you send us a contact card.
Location
Mosaic is for close friends, so we show the precise place a photo was taken to the friends who can see it. We remove all other metadata from stored files. Text "hide location" to turn it off for your account, or for a single post.
Why we keep photos after a mosaic expires
Expired mosaics can't be viewed by anyone. We keep the underlying photos so you can download everything you've shared, so future features like a year-end recap can use them, and so nothing disappears without you choosing to delete it. You decide when it goes.
Deleting
Text "delete" for a page where you can choose photos to remove, or "delete everything". Deleted items are removed from our servers and caches right away. Text "delete my account" to erase your account and everything in it within 30 days.
Who we share data with
We don't sell your data or show ads. We use service providers to send messages, store files and run our AI features, and they may only use your data to provide those services. We'll share data with authorities only when the law requires it, including reporting child sexual abuse material.
AI
Mosaic uses AI to read your messages, write titles and section names, and lay out your mosaic. We don't use your photos to train models.

Terms
Who can use Mosaic
You must be 18 or older, and you need a phone number that can receive texts.
Your content
You own what you send. You give us permission to store it, process it and show it to the people you share with, only to run Mosaic. Only send photos you have the right to share, and only tag people who'd be fine being tagged.
Not allowed
Nudity or sexual content involving anyone under 18 (which we report to authorities). Harassment, threats or hate. Posting someone's private images without consent. Spam, or using tags and invites to text people who don't want to hear from you.
Reporting and blocking
Tap Report on any post or comment, or text "report" or "block [name]". We may remove content or close accounts that break these terms.
Texts
By texting Mosaic you agree to receive messages from us, including your daily mosaic and comment notifications. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop all messages, or HELP for help.
The service
Mosaic is provided as is. It's early, and features may change. We're not liable for lost content beyond what the law requires.
